~The Social Influence On Mass Media~

"Over the last 500 years, the influence of mass media has grown exponentially with the advance of technology." Found in an article called 'Mass Media Influence on Society'. This Means that Technology has advanced along with the expansion of massive media. Media first began with books, newspapers, articles,magazines, photographs, etc. Those resources are still being used till this day, The most common media used today are television, internet and social media. Many people depend on media because of the useful information it contains and the communication such as work, education, entertainment, and many more things. Although media is useful resource to many of us and people see it as a positive , Its  expansion can also have a negative effect. Children are also a part of the expansion of media such as television, it can become a serious mental and physical issue for children. 
 "The average child sees 12,000 violent acts on television annually, including many depictions of murder and rape. More than 1000 studies confirm that exposure to heavy doses of television violence increases aggressive behavior" This is an example of the negative way television affects children. These are the some of the effects on media.
